Context
In today's international news landscape, we find a multitude of players constantly having to adapt to new usages. A wide variety of readers live side by side, with specific needs and different sensitivities to be taken into account country by country, while respecting journalistic neutrality. It is in this context that we helped France Media Monde redesign their applications in order to renew their audience.

Challenge
The main challenge was creating a versatile media player adaptable to various applications and user needs. The player had to allow video playback while navigating the app, offering both expanded and minimized views. We incorporated user-requested features from the questionnaire we did like content suggestions, favorites, and playlist creation. Additionally, we designed a version for audio content and ensured performance in low-bandwidth areas, particularly in Africa. Balancing flexibility, functionality, and performance was key to delivering an optimal user experience.
